How we publish

Editorial Policy

This policy explains how SuperCoupons selects topics, evaluates sources, presents merchant data, separates conditional savings and handles commercial relationships.

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Purpose and audience

Our content is written for Indian shoppers trying to compare an exact product, merchant offer, subscription, financial product or travel option. A page should help a reader make a real decision, explain material limitations and identify what must be confirmed with the provider.

Sources

We prefer official manufacturer specifications, product documentation, bank or issuer terms, government or regulator material, merchant pages and authorised APIs. Offer feeds may come from Cuelinks, vCommission or another identified affiliate source. A source relationship does not convert a promotional claim into independent verification.

When a guide relies on an external source, we link or name the source where practical. We avoid copying merchant descriptions as editorial conclusions.

Product identity and price rules

  • Product comparisons should use an exact merchant product URL and identifier rather than a search-result page.
  • Flipkart prices are accepted only when the product-ID response matches the registered listing and passes the freshness and confidence rules.
  • Until an eligible Amazon product API is available, Amazon is labelled “Check price on Amazon”; we do not publish an independently observed Amazon price.
  • Listed prices are kept separate from card discounts, cashback, exchange values and other conditional benefits.
  • Stale, out-of-stock, low-confidence or identity-mismatched observations are excluded from current price claims.

Coupons and merchant offers

Offer pages label coupon codes separately from direct promotions and show source-reported expiry or update information where available. A code is not called successful merely because it appears in a feed. Shoppers must confirm product eligibility, minimum spend, payment method, discount cap and checkout acceptance.

Buying guides and recommendations

Guides should compare meaningful variants, ownership costs, upgrade constraints, exclusions and use cases. Recommendations should explain who a product suits and when a buyer should avoid it. We do not promise outcomes that depend on individual finances, health, travel conditions or merchant decisions.

Financial-product pages provide general comparisons and should direct readers to current issuer documents. They do not provide personalised investment, tax, credit or insurance advice.

Affiliate independence and advertising

SuperCoupons may earn commission through merchant links. Affiliate availability may affect which stores can be linked, but it must not change technical facts, hide a material limitation or guarantee a positive verdict. Paid placements must be clearly labelled as an advertisement, sponsored placement or affiliate promotion as appropriate.

Read the full affiliate disclosure.

Updates, bylines and corrections

Pages display publication or update information where the template supports it. A byline identifies the person or editorial role responsible for the published work. Material errors are corrected under the Corrections Policy; updates should not silently preserve a claim known to be wrong.
